NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The 2025 Hogs for the Cause festival has unveiled its music lineup.
This year’s headliners include a blend of country, folk, and Americana, including:
- Charley Crockett
- Stephen Wilson, Jr.
- Zach Top
- Willow Avalon
Crockett is in the midst of another busy year. While on a non-stop international tour, the Texas-born musician released two albums in 2024, $10 Cowboy and its follow-up Visions of Dallas. He’s also just received his first Grammy nomination for Best Americana Album for the upcoming ceremony in 2025.
Former scientist turned songwriter Stephen Wilson Jr. burst onto the scene last year with his album Son of Dad and recently re-released the title track of the album with country artist Hardy.
Scheduled for April 4-5 at the UNO Lakefront, the festival is more than just a music event. It features over 90 competitive barbecue teams and family-friendly activities while supporting pediatric brain cancer research and treatment.

Over the years, the festival has grown into one of the largest barbecue and music festivals in the South, making a tangible impact through millions of dollars in donations.
